Marilyn K. Jolliff

Marilyn Kay Jolliff, 81, of Centralia Illinois passed away Sunday March 29th, surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of her own home. Marilyn was born on October 17, 1938 in St Elmo, IL to Leota and Leslie Flanigan. She married Jerry Jolliff on April 5, 1959. Marilyn is survived by her 5 children, daughter, Barri Allen of Edwardsville, daughter, Sonya Gettinger and husband Michael of Centralia, son, Jerry B. Jolliff of Centralia, son, Brock Jolliff and wife Stacey of Centralia, and daughter Jessica Koelling and husband Vinny of Centralia, her grandchildren, Abbey, Macey, Ceara, Dimi and Husband JJ, McKenzie, Gavin, Jaysie, Jayda, Jaylyn, Jaymie, Devane and wife Kristen , great- grand children, Jax, Ava, Reign and Jameson, Two Sisters Jean Sloat and Joyce Schulte and a brother George Flanigan, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jum and Butch, son Jay Jolliff and ex- husband Jerry Jolliff. Marilyn had a heart of gold and lit up every single room she walked in. There wasn’t a moment she didn’t make you feel special, and she definitely wasn’t afraid to tell you the truth. She had a passion for buisness, and successfully ran Jerry’s Grill & Bar for 50 years, up until the day she left us. Some of Marilyn’s favorite things include new recipes, makeup, jewelry, shopping with all her kids, and of course Elvis and his blue suede shoes. She lived for spending time with her family, we all shared a very special bond that not many families can say they have, and we will all forever cherish those memories with her. Private Graveside Services for Marilyn K. Jolliff will be held at a later date. Entombment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia.
