Madison Rae’lynn Burton age 25 of Odin, IL passed away on August 6th, 2026 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL. She is the daughter of Christin Page of Centralia, Samantha Johnson of Wayne City, and the late Larry Burton. Madi was known as being an amazing mother to her and fiancé Armondo Fletcher’s daughter, Amora Fletcher. Amora was Madi’s world and best friend. She lived her life to the fullest & loved every moment of motherhood. Madi had a contagious smile & laugh. As many of her friends say, “To know Madi is to love Madi.” She enjoyed life by spending time with her two favorite humans, Amora & Armondo. Madi had a carefree and fun personality. She had many friends and family from all seasons of her life. Her life will be remembered by the many people who loved her and shared life’s little ups and downs with her. Her legacy will live on through her amazing daughter. Madi is survived by her daughter: Amora, fiancé: Armondo, mother’s: Samantha & Christin, siblings: Ethan, Trinity, Jayden, grandparents: Larry Dale Burton and wife Robin and Teresa Page and Randy Chapman, and several aunts, uncles, cousins & many friends. She was preceded in death by her dad: Larry Burton, her angel baby, great-grandparents: Karen Martin – Ramsey, Larry Burton, Sr. and Karen Page. A Visitation will be held Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Madi will be laid to rest near her father at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois. In honor of Madi’s memory and in lieu of flower memorial donations may be made to assist with the funeral expenses and for Madi’s daughter, Amora.
