Ida Mae Hale

Ida Mae Hale of Irvington, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the age of 87. She was born on November 17, 1937, to George W. and Clarissia McCulley. She married Noah Hale Jr. in 1954, and he preceded her in death. Ida is survived by her loving daughters, Victoria Hale of Irvington and Juanita Grimes of Radom (husband Jeffery); her devoted son Robert Hale (wife Nikki) of Fairfield, and daughter in law Regina Hale of Puxico MO. Her legacy continues through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life, as well as several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. . She is preceded in death by her cherished husband Noah Hale Jr., her parents, George W. and Clarissia McCulley, a daughter, Anita Hale, a son Eddie Hale, and a grandson Alan Shulte, and many brothers and sisters, whose memories she held dear. Ida was employed as a school cook, dedicating many years to nourishing both the bodies and spirits of the children she served. Her warmth extended beyond the kitchen, as she was known for her gracious hospitality and the joy she found in spending time with family and friends. She was a great cook and was known for fish fry's and her baked goods that she shared at family gatherings. She always made sure that nobody left her house hungry. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ida's (Mae) life at Hillcrest Lakeside Chapel in Centralia on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 12:00 pm. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the chapel.
