Frederick Webster

Frederick Webster, 61, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Frederick was born June 22, 1961 in Marks, Mississippi, the son of Hamp Webster, Jr. and Emma (McGee) Webster. He married Dena (Burton) Webster and they later divorced. Frederick is survived by four children: Dietric Starks of Centralia, Breeanna Pokojski of Centralia, Alexis Pokojski of Carlyle, and Frederick Webster, II. of Palm Beach, FL; fourteen grandchildren; brothers: Eddie McGee and wife Sue of Midland, Texas, Calvin McGee of Centralia, Michael Jones of Cleveland, Mississippi, Jerry Polk of Marks, Mississippi, Hamp Webster, III and wife Annie of Carbondale, and Olajuwon Billberry of Centralia; sisters: Joyce King of Centralia, Joan Glispie of Paducah, Kentucky, Linda Webster of Centralia, Shalonda Webster of Paducah, Kentucky, Laura Harris of Kentucky, and Valencia Matthews of Minnesota; four aunts: Blanchie Jones of Marks, Mississippi, Ella James of Chicago, Queen Williams of Centralia, and Jone Crenshaw of Centralia; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents: Hamp Webster, Jr. and Emma Webster, two sisters: Robin Webster and Mary Webster, a brother: Fred Harris; and niece: Emma King Wallace and numerous aunts and uncles. Frederick enjoyed cooking for his family, playing gambling machines, and riding his bike. He cherished the time he spent with his family. He will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved him. Funeral Services for Frederick Webster will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Bethel Baptist Church in Centralia with Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
