Michael Allen Greene

Michael Greene, 57, of Centralia, passed away, Friday, February 4, 2022 at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. Michael was born December 7, 1964 in Pensacola, FL, the son of Larry Dean Greene and Nancy (Hodges) Greene. He married Tracie (Barrall) Greene on September 23, 2004 at Niagara Falls in New York and she survives him in Centralia. In addition to his wife Tracie, Michael is survived by one daughter: Sydney Cummins of Centralia; three grandchildren: Benjamin Bowlby, Brooklyn Bowlby, and Reagan Witthaus; mother-in-law: Betty Barrall of Iuka; one uncle: Bill Greene and wife Mary of Chicago; one brother: Mark Greene and wife Kristi; two brothers-in-law: Roger Barrall and wife Vivian of Centralia and Walter Barrall and Rhonda of Centralia; and lots of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his parents: Larry and Nancy Greene and a cousin: Diane Henry. Michael was a fun and charismatic character. He worked for Nascote as a dye and tool maker for 30 years before retiring 3 years ago. He was an avid Saint Louis Blues fan. He was a caring husband and friend. He will be dearly missed. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Sutherland Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 am till time of the service 1:00 pm.
