Lillie L. Norman

Lillie L. Norman, 93, of Altamont, Illinois, formerly of Farina passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Lutheran Care Center. Born August 14, 1928 in Clinton, SC., she was the daughter of Paul Wesley and Sarah (Glynn) Mauldin. She was be forever remembered for her keyboard talents on the piano. She had previously been a telephone operator, a waitress and helped manage the Salem Country Club with her husband. She was married December 29, 1946 in Farina, Illinois to G. William "Bill" Norman and he preceded her in death February 22, 2015. Survivors include her children, John (Deborah) Norman of Salem, IL, Jim (Melody) Norman of Farina, IL and "George" David (Vicky) Norman of Centralia, IL along with 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Norman. There will be no public visitation. The family invite you to join them 10:00 am, Wednesday at the Farina Cemetery for graveside services. Pastor Jerry Gesell will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Care Center in Altamont, IL and will be accepted by the Sutherland - Rankin Funeral Home, P. O. Box 97, 310 N.
