Clinton “Clint” McDaniel, 37, of Centralia passed away on August 5, 2020 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. He was born on February 22, 1983 to Michael McDaniel and Machelle Stone in Mt. Vernon, IL. Clint was a loving son and is survived by his mother, Machelle; step-mother Mert McDaniel of Boyd; sister: Melissa Schwartz, aunts: Lisa Stone Gaines of North Carolina, Darlene (O'Dell) Robertson of California, Donna Wesling, and Susie Smith both of Centralia; uncles Gary McDaniel of Dix, Chuck McDaniel and Steve McDaniel of Centralia and many loving cousins. He is preceded in death by his father: Michael McDaniel, grandparents Jack & Diane Stone and Otha & Mary McDaniel, great-grandparents, Wayne & Sue O'Dell and Oscar & Irma Stone, an uncle: Bob McDaniel, and a great uncle Richard Stone. Clint lived in his whole life Centralia, where he attended St. Mary Catholic School and Centralia High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an adamant dog lover and rescued many dogs, many who will miss him dearly. A Private Graveside Service at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia for Clint McDaniel will be held at a later date.
