Charles G. Payne

Charles Payne, Jr., 34, of Centralia, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 in SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. Charles was born September 6, 1987 in Centralia, the son of Charles Payne, Sr. and Linda (Boester) Payne. His father survives in Centralia. In addition to his father, Charles is survived by two sisters: Amy Payne and Dona Payne of Centralia; one nephew: Payton Brown-Payne; one aunt: Judy (Boester) Thurston of Beckmeyer; and two uncles: Robert Boester of Centralia and Michael Boester of Rochester, NY. Charles was a gentle soul. He enjoyed playing cards and working on small engines. He loved animals and spending time with his friends and family. He will be dearly missed by those that knew him. Charles was preceded in death by his mother Linda Payne, both his maternal and paternal grandparents, and one uncle: George Payne. Per his family’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held. Burial will be held Mt. Catherine Cemetery at a later date.
