Betty Jane Prosise

February 2, 1924 - January 23, 2022

Betty J. Prosise, 97, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Centralia Manor. She was born February 2, 1924 in Centralia, the daughter of Ernest Bryant and Dora (Truitt) Bryant. She married Neil Prosise on June 26, 1943 and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1986. Betty is survived by her son: Stephen Prosise and wife Mary Jo of Hoyleton; three grandchildren: Casey Prosise, Ryan Prosise and wife Kelsey, and Megan Johnson and husband Mike; two great-grandchildren: Lily Johnson and Garrett Johnson; and her brother: Bill Bryant. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: Harold Bryant and Robert Bryant. Betty enjoyed collecting plats and milk glass. She was a member of the Calumet Street Christian Church in Centralia. A Private Family Graveside will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia.
