Ueldean Cralley

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ueldean Cralley, a cherished resident of Centralia, IL, who left this world peacefully on Sunday, June 21st, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on Saturday, March 9th, 1935, the daughter of Fred and Pearl (Robinson) Bain. She married Donald Cralley on February 4, 1951 and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2018. Ueldean embraced life with warmth and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. Ueldean is lovingly remembered by her three children: Douglas Cralley and wife Susan of Woodlawn, Deloris Sipe of Centralia, and David Cralley and wife Diane of Mt. Vernon. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Renee Zoll and husband Josh of Woodlawn, Nathan Sipe and wife Sandi of Centralia, and Casey Sipe of Centralia, as well as her great-grandchildren, Livy and Evan Sipe. She is also survived by her brother, Tommy Bain of Columbus, Ohio, several nieces and nephews, and numerous honorary grandchildren whom she lovingly fostered over the years. Ueldean was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Pearl Bain, her beloved husband, Donald Cralley, and her twelve siblings. Ueldean dedicated her life to her passions, working as an esteemed interior home designer and running an in-home daycare, from which she retired just 11 years ago. Her nurturing spirit was best expressed through the many foster children she welcomed with open arms. Ueldean was renowned for her skill in cooking and baking cakes, and she shared her creativity through her love for crocheting. A member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Mt. Vernon, she also attended the First Apostolic Church in Centralia. Her joy and enthusiasm were contagious, especially when playing BINGO at Centralia Manor, an event she eagerly anticipated. A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Ueldean’s memory will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Visitation for friends and family will be held Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Deloris Sipe and will be graciously accepted at the Funeral Home.
