Phyllis Randall

Phyllis Randall, 95, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Centralia Manor in Centralia, IL. Phyllis was born March 26, 1925 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Charles Gibson and Sarah (Troxell) Gibson. She married John "Jack" M. Randall on June 3, 1945 in Centralia and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2006. Phyllis is survived by her daughter: Marsha Dyskstra and Alwyn of Nashville; one grandchild: Jennifer Randoll and Brett of Troy; three great-grandchildren: Landan Randoll, Brynn Randoll, and Jason Randoll; special niece and nephews: Diane Elliot and husband Stuart of Topeka, KS, Ron Buchholz and wife Darlene of Columbus, GA, and Roger Buchholz and wife Kathy of Colorado; and other nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband: John "Jack" Randall, her parents: Charles and Sarah Gibson; twin infant siblings; six brothers: Finley Gibson, Dean Gibson, Robert Gibson, Verlin Gibson, Charlie Gibson, and an infant brother; and two sisters: Mary Dinwiddie and Ruth Hoga. Phyllis was a member of the Greenview Christian Church in Centralia and enjoyed spending time with her church family. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, and doing crafts. Most of all, Phyllis loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by them. Private Funeral Services for Phyllis Randall will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with entombment to follow at Hillcrest Lakeside Chapel in Centralia. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home with a limited amount of visitors in the funeral home at one time. Due to health concerns, face masks and social distancing will be observed.
