Loyd Anderson

Loyd Anderson, 80, of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at his home. He was born December 2, 1939 in Boyd, the son of Ruben Anderson and Jessie (Dennis) Anderson. He married Barbara (Young) Robinett on December 12, 1983 and she preceded him in death on April 19, 2017. Loyd is survived by seven children: Michael Gerard of Tennessee, Melissa Clark and husband Dave of New Hampshire, Dickie Anderson and wife Christy of Centralia, Becky Warren of Centralia, Jennifer Wine and husband Darrell of Missouri, Jim Robinett and wife Sandy of Hoyleton, and Kim Smith and husband Gary of Centralia; 14 grandchildren: Brandi Robinett and significant other Alex Sandy of Boyd, Jimmy Robinett III of Mt. Vernon, Gary Smith Jr. of Salem, Makenzie Anderson of Springfield, Tasha Kennedy and husband Josh of Centralia; Jessica Vanhoutin of Missouri, Harmony Wine of Missouri, Holly Wine of Missouri, Zack Wine of Missouri, Raymond Warren and significant other Kendra of Centralia, Maddison Warren of Centralia, Zacharie Smith of Centralia, Korey Robinett of Hoyleton, and Bailey Mills of New Hampshire; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother: Richard Anderson of Northern Illinois; two sisters: Pearl Beams and husband Floyd of Northern Illinois and Wanda Neff of Louisiana; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ruben and Jessie Anderson, wife: Barbara Anderson, a daughter: Tammy Robinett, and three sisters: Alice Helpingstine, Mable Cook, and Helen Villereal. Loyd worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for 15 plus years until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and he was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan. Loyd cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. Per Loyd’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 4:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Sandoval. Visitation will be held Saturday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the church.
